High School National Try-outs

2025-26 CIE High School National program try-outs. Our summer try-outs will be July 29th, 30th, and 31st. We will also have a try-out in November after the conclusion of the High School season, on November 16th, 17th, and 18th.

We do not anticipate filling the rosters in the summer.

Why Summer Try-outs

We hold summer try-outs for a few reasons.

1) We feel it helps players focus on their High School seasons, knowing they have already made a National team. Therefore, they do not have to worry about November Tryouts while still playing in their season.

2) Helps families with the financial costs by being able to spread the cost of the season over more months if you choose.

How many Try-outs should we attend?

We would prefer that you attend all three tryout dates. This will give our coaching staff a good sense of your player's abilities. We do understand if you can't attend all the dates

What happens if I am not offered a spot in the summer tryouts?

If not offered a spot during the summer tryouts, we would like to encourage you to come back in November again. If you are still not offered a place, we will discuss your options within our program and also encourage you to try out at multiple clubs. You will find a fit somewhere if you are committed to a national-level schedule and practice tempo. We want each player to reach their full potential.

Practices for the High School National Program

Practices will start in November and conclude in June before the teams head to Nationals in Orlando. Practices will be 2-3 days a week on Monday/Wednesday and Fridays.

Games

National Teams will play in 10 total tournaments.

The schedule will look similar to the 2024-25 season with a possible few different tournaments.

COST

Cost will be similar to the 2024-25 Season.

Uniform package(if needed): $380

Coaches Travel Expenses: Gas, food, parking and Hotel. Each tournament varies.

Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will my player receive communication after the summer tryouts if they make the player pool or not? Yes either way your player will receive communication.

2) When will each player know their team and coach? All team placement will happen after the fall tryouts in November. Your player will know the team and coach by November 19th.

3) What does a "player pool" mean? A player pool is a group of players by age group which will will separate into one or two teams.

4) If I receive a offer in the summer and do not like the team placement in the fall, is there a way to back out of the contract and receive a refund? YES, if you do not like the team placement you can opt out and will receive a full refund of any deposit or player dues paid. (This is new this season).

5) What happens after the summer tryouts and we receive an offer? If you receive a summer offer, you will put down $300 to hold you roster spot. We will work with each player/parent individually on payment plans for the rest of the season.

6) What happens after the November Tryouts if we receive an offer? Once the offer is made and accepted, you will pay the $300 and have a payment plan already in place for the remainder of the season.

7) What happens if my player does not receive an offer? If your player does not receive a summer offer, they should come back in November and tryout again. If they do not receive an offer in November, we will look to add them to our travel-Lite or local program.

8) Do you know the coaches now? Yes we have a good idea of who our National Coaches will be currently. 15-Red: Selena Bryan, 16-Red: Jennifer Bartlett, 17-Red: Rick Pemble, 18-Red: Will Mcall and Brian Martin. If we have a 2's team in any of the age groups we will make sure the coaches are named with the offer.

9) What is the cost of Tryouts? Tryouts are $30 and will cover both the Summer and November Tryouts. The Tryout fee is non-refundable.
